Under the directives of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister: Mumtalakat announces appointment of H.E. Khalid Al Rumaihi to Board of Directors and appoints Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa as CEO of Mumtalakat effective 1st May 2023

Under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued in an edict today, the Board of Directors of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), chaired by His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, welcomed the appointment of His Excellency Khalid Al Rumaihi to the company's Board of Directors and the appointment of Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa as CEO of Mumtalakat, effective 1st May 2023.

The Board of Directors confirmed Mumtalakat’s commitment to continue to grow and diversify its portfolio within various priority sectors, which will increase Mumtalakat’s contribution to the national economy in line with the goals of the national development vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

In addition, the Board praised H.E. Khalid Al Rumaihi’s contributions to Mumtalakat’s positive performance under his effective leadership during his tenure as Mumtalakat’s CEO, and congratulated Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa for his appointment as the new CEO of Mumtalakat, wishing him success in his new role.

H.E. Khalid Al Rumaihi expressed his appreciation for the trust of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his appointment to Mumtalakat’s Board of Directors which will allow him to continue serving as a member of Team Bahrain in the pursuit of the Kingdom’s goals.
